Community Kitchen-Cooking

July 28, 2019 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

COMMUNITY KITCHEN

Sunday, July 28, 10 a.m. Volunteers of all ages will cook meals that will be delivered by other volunteers to members who are ill or just home from the hospital. This is a  way to reconnect with temple members you may not have seen for some time, or meet some new friends!

Tuesday, Aug. 27, 7 p.m.  Volunteers will be baking mini-honey cakes which will be delivered to congregants who have lost a loved one since last Rosh Hashanah. Our tradition of reaching out to those who are grieving is meaningful both to the recipients and those who deliver the packages.  You can help us bake, and/or you can help us deliver the honey cakes in September.

To learn more, please contact our Caring Community Coordinator Wendy Jacobson at 216-447-9542 or
Wjacobson@fairmounttemple.org

Shabbat Across Fairmount Temple

Shabbat Across Fairmount Temple

August 16, 2019 6:00 pm

Carrying on the energy and enthusiasm from that inaugural gathering Shabbat Across Fairmount Temple, all temple members are again invited to share Shabbat dinners with others.  A summer date allows those who were out of town in February to participate, while also creating more summer dinner options, including dinner on the deck or pizza in the park.  As before, we have a great committee who will match hosts and guests. As before, registration is needed early to give time to work out the logistics.  RSVP Deadline July 29.

How to Participate in Shabbat Across
Fairmount Temple?

ONLINE: Click here for the sign up link.  Our Religious School is coordinating a Shabbat dinner at Fairmount Temple for all Religious School families also on Aug. 16. When signing up, please indicate if you are a RS family and will be attending that dinner.
