While the temple building is closed out of an abundance of caution during the COVID-19 pandemic, Wednesday Morning Study will be moved to Zoom conferencing. Abbreviated Shabbat Service/Shabbat Across FT - Streamed and Zoom
,Fairmount Temple has engaged hundreds of congregants in Shabbat meals hosted in one another’s homes for Shabbat Across Fairmount Temple. Our program has been nationally recognized by the Union for Reform Judaism! Now due to the pandemic, we’d like to try a variation of this program to help our community continue to celebrate Shabbat and meet one another on Friday, October 16, 2020. This time we will conduct our Shabbat rituals during an abbreviated Shabbat evening service at 6:15 pm. Then everyone who chooses to do so and RSVP’s in advance will be placed into virtual “Shabbat tables” to meet other congregants for some fun conversation over (optional) dinner and drinks.
