Abbreviated Shabbat Service/Shabbat Across FT - Streamed and Zoom
,Fairmount Temple has engaged hundreds of congregants in Shabbat meals hosted in one another’s homes for Shabbat Across Fairmount Temple. Our program has been nationally recognized by the Union for Reform Judaism! Now due to the pandemic, we’d like to try a variation of this program to help our community continue to celebrate Shabbat and meet one another on Friday, October 16, 2020. This time we will conduct our Shabbat rituals during an abbreviated Shabbat evening service at 6:15 pm. Then everyone who chooses to do so and RSVP’s in advance will be placed into virtual “Shabbat tables” to meet other congregants for some fun conversation over (optional) dinner and drinks.
We’d love to have you join us, increase your connectedness with fellow members of Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple and meet new people as well. Please RSVP to Wendy Jacobson, Caring Community Coordinator
