Please join us for a special Zoom gathering with Rabbi Rick Jacobs, President of the Union for Reform Judaism
Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 6 pm. He will speak on Reform Judaism: Leading Change Before COVID-19 and Long After”When COVID-19 hit our country, Fairmount Temple pivoted to new ways to stay connected with our communities through virtual Shabbat Services, online learning and Zoom-centered gatherings. Rabbi Rick Jacobs will share with our Fairmount Temple community how we and other temples will keep moving forward, how our offerings may look a little different, and how we will go from strength to strength. As President of the URJ, Rabbi Jacobs leads the most diverse Jewish movement in North America with almost 900 congregations and nearly two million people. We’re pleased and proud to welcome him back to Fairmount Temple!

Although COVID-19 precautions will prevent a group service, clergy from Fairmount Temple and The Temple-Tifereth Israel will be outside the Mayfield Cemetery Mausoleum from 11 am-noon with a self-guided prayer ritual and flowers for you to visit the graves of your loved ones.
