Chanukah Mitzvah Day with Blood Drive
December 15, 2019 –
Help us repair the world, one mitzvah at a time! While Religious School students and their parents work together on classroom mitzvah projects, many other teen and adult volunteers are needed for several Mitzvah Day projects.
- 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Give the Gift of Life by donating to the Blood Drive, 17 and older. There is a critical blood shortage and your donations can be a life-saver for someone. (Weinberg Hall, sponsored by Men of FT)
- 9 a.m. - Holiday Happenings is for families with preschoolers to learn about mitzvot and make a decorated frame for Montefiore residents. This is an opportunity for grandparents and/or parents to do a mitzvah project with their preschoolers. (Room 1)
- 9:15 a.m. - Wrap toys for kids in need. (Commons)
- 9:30—11:30 a.m. Multiple projects including a chance to work on blankets, number books and other projects with the Women of FT volunteers. (Spiegle-Sukenik Atrium Foyer)
- 10:30 a.m. - Many volunteers needed to help pack lunches! We’ll be assembling sandwiches and packing 400 bagged lunches. All hands on deck!! (1/3 Weinberg Hall)
