Free Community Meal for those impacted by government shutdown

January 31, 2019 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Those who have been impacted by the federal government shutdown are invited to enjoy a free community meal on Thursday, Jan. 31, at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple in Beachwood.

Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple and the Cleveland Jewish News wish to express their appreciation, gratitude and support for individuals and families who have been dealing with effects of the government shutdown for weeks. Despite news of a temporary re-opening of government agencies, we are concerned about our neighbors who are living under the potential impact of further shutdowns and furloughs while waiting for their paychecks.

The buffet-style meal will be served between 5:30 and 7 p.m. RSVPs are kindly requested for an accurate headcount. Your email address will not be used for future solicitation.

All faith traditions are welcome at this community-wide event. Questions? info@cjn.org.
