    Please join us for a virtual Happy Hour to bring in Shabbat! Using the Zoom link for the Shabbat service, log in at 5:30 pm. You will be placed into small groups for fun conversation with fellow temple members. If you wish, please have your Shabbat candlesticks or kiddush cup nearby so you can share why they are meaningful to you. If you already receive the weekly email from Jenny Marmaros with the Shabbat Zoom link, the Happy Hour will be the same link.     Friday, Jan. 15, 6:15 pm, Shabbat Evening Service Honoring the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King with guest speaker Marcia Fudge
    Marcia Fudge, who has been nominated by President-Elect Joe Biden to serve as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, will speak at our Friday, Jan. 15 Shabbat service. Her presentation will help us honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Rabbi Nosanchuk has worked with Congresswoman Fudge on important issues including those of profound concern throughout our temple’s history such as protecting the voting rights of all Americans, aiding the poorest and most vulnerable members of our community, and building racial equity and understanding. In addition to Rep. Fudge, we will be joined virtually by The Kent State University Gospel Choir.
