The special and tasty oneg will be prepared by our temple member Jeremy Umansky, chef/owner of Larder Delicatessen & Bakery. He will prepared four tastings using recipes from Michael Twitty’s book, KosherSoul.
This is also the first day that we are collecting toiletries for those in need. The drive runs from Friday, Jan. 13-Sunday, Jan. 22
We are collecting trial-sized toiletries to be distributed the Homeless Stand Down, a one-day event in Cleveland providing essential goods and services to those in need. You can help two ways: Dropping off donations in the bin outside our temple doors, Jan. 13-22. Sample-sized items needed: shampoo, conditioner, soap, comb, bandages, Chapstick, deodorant, hand sanitizer, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, and tissues.
