Shabbat Evening Service with guest speaker author Scott Simon

Our clergy will be joined by compelling guest speaker Scott Simon, founder of Scare Your Soul, a movement designed to inspire individual and global change through small acts of courage. Scott Simon is also the author of a new book, Scare Your Soul: 7 Powerful Principles to Harness Your Fear and Lead to Your Most Courageous Life, which is being released Dec. 6.

When interviewed on a recent podcast, Scott Simon said, “Stepping out of our comfort zone, especially in kindness, can create so much positivity in this world.” This is a message tailor-made for our community at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple, a temple whose name means “people of kindness” and whose mission is animated by the value of kindness.

We welcome you to join us for in-person Shabbat Evening Services which are also live-streamed. Our services and events in the MAIN WING (non-school area) of our building allow the option of wearing masks or not.
